Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer (Multi-Tenant | Security-Focused | MSP) Are you the go-to expert when it comes to Microsoft 365? Do you thrive in complex, multi-tenant MSP environments, where you're the one setting policy—not just following someone else’s directives? We’re looking for a senior-level M365 engineer who lives and breathes Microsoft cloud tech. Someone who not only understands Conditional Access Policies, Intune configurations, and Secure Score optimization—but can also diagnose how these pieces work together (or break things) across 120+ unique tenants. What You’ll Do You’ll be part of a seasoned M365 team supporting over 120 tenants, focusing on security hardening, global escalations, and high-impact infrastructure projects. • Architect and implement security and infrastructure improvements across M365 tenants • Own Tier 3 escalations from a 25-person helpdesk — phishing attacks, global admin access, misconfigurations, etc. • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot policies across: • Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) – Conditional Access, MFA, PAM • Exchange Online – mailbox migrations, spam rules, transport policies • Intune – Autopilot, device compliance, LAPS, Defender policies • SharePoint Online & OneDrive – permissions, data migrations • Microsoft Defender & Purview – EDR, litigation hold, content search • Perform regular security audits and elevate Secure Score performance • Manage hybrid deployments – syncing on-prem AD with M365, supporting secure transitions • Lead license reviews and optimize permissions and access structures What Sets You Apart • You’re hands-on and strategic—comfortable both designing and troubleshooting real-time issues • You’re the person others turn to when M365 users lose access or when tenant-wide policies conflict • You know the ripple effects of a misconfigured CA policy and how to fix it fast • You’ve worked in an MSP setting, navigating multiple clients, high expectations, and mission-critical environments • You're energized by technical challenges and value camaraderie and long-term stability What You Bring • 3+ years of experience in a Microsoft 365 engineering role (MSP strongly preferred) • Proven ability to own and troubleshoot M365 security configurations from the ground up • Expertise with: • Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA • Intune device policies and compliance • Exchange Online security and mail flow • Defender/Purview • SharePoint administration and migrations • Strong knowledge of M365 licensing tiers and permission frameworks • At least one Microsoft certification (e.g., Enterprise Admin, Azure Security Engineer) • Strong written and verbal communication skills Perks & Culture • Monday–Friday schedule (8 AM–5 PM) • One remote day per week after 60 days • Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and AD&D coverage • 401(k) with company match • Flat structure with direct access to leadership—no red tape • Supportive, team-oriented culture with low turnover and meaningful work
