Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models for automotive applications (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive analytics, forecasting, optimization). Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to validate model performance and business impact. Contribute to the strategic roadmap for data science initiatives within the automotive division. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical data usage practices. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. 5+ years of experience in data science, with a significant portion focused on the automotive industry or related fields. Proficiency in Python or R, including relevant libraries for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and machine learning (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and SQL. Proven ability to translate business problems into data science solutions. Strong understanding of various machine learning techniques, model evaluation, and deployment strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with automotive data sources (CAN bus, diagnostics, infotainment) is highly desirable.
