We are seeking an experienced Senior Delphi and Azure Architect to conduct an 8-hour quick-scan of our existing software as a service (SaaS) migration process. The ideal candidate will assess our current infrastructure, identify potential challenges, and provide actionable recommendations for a seamless migration to Azure. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that our transition is efficient and aligns with best practices. Description We are evaluating the acquisition of a small software project, a Windows/Delphi analytics tool. A server build exists, but we need an independent code & cloud feasibility review before issuing a term sheet. Scope (fixed price – 10 hours) Static code review of Delphi 11 batch/server project (read-only ZIP). Assess lift-and-shift to Azure (Windows container / App Service): • dependencies, third-party components, Windows licensing, build pipeline. Provide high-level cloud cost model for current workload (CPU/RAM spec supplied). Check basic security & compliance gaps (auth, encryption, logging). Short Q&A session (Teams, 30–45 min) with our team. Deliver a 2–3 page report: • Red / Amber / Green matrix per domain (code quality, cloud readiness, security, maintainability). • 0–3 month “quick-wins” roadmap & rough hours estimate. • Risk score (0–5) and “go / no-go” conclusion. Input you receive Source snapshot (read-only). Build instructions (.dproj, scripts). Sample anonymised auditfiles & bank files. Current server specs, runtime metrics, licence list. Simple architecture PDF. Ideal profile 8+ yrs Delphi (10.3 – 11) and Windows-to-Azure migration experience. Hands-on Docker / containerisation on Windows. Familiar with CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps). Can articulate findings in crisp executive language (English). Prior code-audit / technical due-diligence reports is a big plus. Budget & timeline Fixed price: 10 hours × $60 ≈ $600 (flexible for the right senior). Kick-off within 48 hours of hire; draft report in 5 calendar days.
