Job Title : Databricks Administrator/Architect Location: Triangle region of North Carolina (Hybrid) All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina, and posting may require up to 1-2 days per month in a Triangle area office for meetings. Overview : Seeking an experienced Databricks Administrator/Architect to design, implement, and support a scalable Databricks environment. This role involves overseeing the platform's performance, security, and user support, along with providing mentorship to team members. The role also includes building data pipelines, integrating on-premises data into Azure using ADF, and managing role-based access with Unity Catalog. Responsibilities : • Mentor and guide team members. • Design and maintain Databricks clusters. • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of Databricks environment. • Manage role-based data access using Unity Catalog. • Develop data pipelines using the medallion architecture. • Support Azure data ingestion and transformation processes. Required Skills : • 5+ years with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog. • Strong skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark. • Experience in Azure infrastructure, networking, and data migration. • Familiarity with SQL Server, SSIS, CDC, and Git. • Databricks certifications (preferred).
