In the role of Azure Data Engineer with Java experience, you will design, develop, build and maintain modern data management infrastructure using Azure, Java and SQL. You'll collaborate with Product Owners, Data engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions in an intrapreneurial culture where teamwork is encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is valued. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and OpenAPI (Swagger). • Integrate APIs with backend data platforms (Snowflake / Databricks) hosted in Azure. • Optimize microservices for performance, scalability, and resilience. • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory & Databricks. • Perform data transformation using SQL in Databricks. • Enable end-to-end data flow and business logic automation in Azure. • Use GitLab for version control, branching strategies, and merge requests. • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI for automated build, test, and deployment processes. • Implement environment-specific deployments and ensure rollback and audit capabilities. Required Qualifications: • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA OR Dallas,TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience • At least 3 years of Java development using Springboot • At least 2 years of experience in Azure data services • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time Preferred Qualifications: • At least 2 years of current experience in Python, SQL, Spark and working with large datasets • Experience building integrations using Mulesoft Or Anypoint Platform • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS for container orchestration • Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical abilities • Experience in global delivery environments • Experience in global delivery environments The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
