Max rate:- $65/hr on C2C Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Technical Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services to lead a high-impact project for our client, Northern Trust (NTRS), in partnership with TCS. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying Java-based enterprise applications and managing end-to-end cloud-based solutions on Azure. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performing Java-based applications. • Architect cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services, ensuring integration with existing enterprise systems. • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onshore and offshore development teams. • Review and optimize existing codebase, ensuring best practices in performance, security, and maintainability. • Define and enforce coding standards, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. • Drive agile practices including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives. • Manage technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity. Required Skills: • 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services: App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Event Hubs, Service Bus, etc. • Strong experience in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS preferred). • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools. • Solid understanding of API management, security standards (OAuth2, JWT), and integration patterns. • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex enterprise-grade solutions. • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills (verbal & written). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with banking or financial services domain, especially in asset management or custodial banking. • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert). • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ. • Exposure to Terraform, ARM templates, or other IaC tools.
