About the Role: The IT Systems and Support Specialist will play a meaningful role in contributing to these initiatives while being the internal go-to for technical support and the primary contact for our external Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role blends hands-on support with strategic execution. You will work directly with internal users, manage device and account lifecycles, help streamline workflows, and reinforce cybersecurity and compliance protocols. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary on-site resource for IT support requests for staff. • Act as the firm’s liaison to the MSP to track and escalate support cases. • Facilitate procurement and deployment of hardware; assist with device configuration, maintenance, and inventory. • Coordinate staff onboarding/offboarding with account setup and access provisioning. • Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and respond to threat reports. • Support SharePoint migration and other document management projects. • Review and update IT policies and ensure employee adherence. • Support and maintain internal datasets; ensure data integrity and accessibility. • Assist with system integrations and automation to reduce manual workflows. • Maintain internal documentation for systems, procedures and help guides. • Assist in the roll out of digital signage software for publication on video wall system. Qualifications: • Education: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A comparable level of experience in lieu of formal education may be considered. Required Skills: • Minimum: 2-4 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or systems administration. • Proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, Teams, and common business software. • Mac OS experience is desired but not required. • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-managing with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Demonstrates professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive matters. Preferred Skills: • Experience supporting small- to mid-size firms, ideally in financial services or similar industries. • Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory. • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and related tools. • Experience coordinating or participating in data migrations or document management projects. • Exposure to IT policy development and compliance frameworks.
