Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and management of an enterprise data warehouse architecture. • Integrate data from multiple business systems—both on-prem and in the cloud—and transform it into a reliable, well-documented, and easily accessible source for reporting and analytics. • Take full ownership of a data warehouse; maintain documentation on the data warehouse architecture, datasets, data dictionaries and data flows. • Ensure seamless data ingestion and transformation. • Support business users in accessing insights through Power BI and other reporting tools. • Plan and drive the transition to a modern analytics platform for SAPC. Qualifications: Required: • Strong SQL skills and in-depth experience with SQL/T-SQL, and SSIS. • Solid understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage using tools such as Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse. • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse. • Database development and administration skills using SQL Server, Cache or InterSystems IRIS. • Proficiency in Power BI (including gateway setup for hybrid environments) and experience building interactive dashboards. • Familiarity with Crystal Reports and legacy reporting systems. • Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and business users and to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. • Intense customer orientation and desire to help customers adopt new technologies or work methods. • Experience working in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud) and managing secure data integration. • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data integration and deployment. • Background in private or public health, information technology. • 8+ years of progressively more responsible, full-time, paid experience in a centralized Information Technology organization performing information systems analysis and design for complex systems. • 4+ years of hands-on experience in two or more of the following fields: data engineering, database administration, BI development, or data architecture. • 4+ years of experience designing and managing data warehouse/data lakes in Azure (Data Lake Storage Gen2, Synapse, Azure Data Factory). • 4+ years of experience with Azure Purview, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory or similar data catalog/governance tools. • 4+ years of experience with database management systems, to include SQL Server, Cache or InterSystems IRIS, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. • 2+ years of experience developing plans and strategies for enterprise data collection and reporting, and presenting such plans to senior-level and executive-level stakeholders. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field Company: The Norland Group is a consulting firm that provides workforce solutions with a professional approach to a variety of industries.
