Title: Data Quality Analyst Location: New York, NY 10172 (Hybrid) Compensation: $65-$80/Hour Duration: Contract Work Requirement: US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to work in the U.S. Role Objectives • Analyze data sources, data dictionaries, business glossary, data mappings, ETL processes and data within the Data Lakehouse (Databricks) to understand their structure, relationships, dependencies to quantify and document the data quality rules ,controls and procedures around the data elements, ensuring that new and existing systems are integrated effectively with existing IT infrastructure and data quality policy. • Support creation of technical requirements for implementation and maintenance of DQ rules in Collibra Data Quality (CDQ) in partnership with Technology and Data Quality Managers to ensure KDEs are governed by DQ Rules across various data quality dimensions of accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, timeliness, validity and consistency and support reporting on data quality metrics and trends. • Perform data validations, and reconciliations to assess validity and effectiveness of the data quality rules, conduct QA and UAT, create and maintain detailed test plans, execute test cases, and test scripts to validate CDQ results, document, and support root cause analysis with business users and Collibra developers supporting triage in Service Now (SNOW) and provide update in daily scrum calls for Data Quality. • Support DQ Issues Management for Production issues in SNOW (Service Now) and maintain Data Quality metrics to support DQ reporting solutions development and enhancement to provide visibility into data quality governance performance. • Validate DQ metrics, scorecards and reports to support coverage and reporting of Data Quality implementation via Dashboards. Qualifications and Skills • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in data quality and data governance on enterprise platforms • Experience with Collibra Data Quality, Azure Databricks, Unity catalog, Power BI, Service Now etc. • Experience in Data Quality with respect to regulatory or financial reporting (e.g. FR2052a, FRY9C) • Hands-on experience in SQL queries and understanding of ETL processes and Scheduling products • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in data management, Information Systems, Business Analytics • Background in financial services or other regulated industries • Understanding of metadata management, business glossaries, data stewardship, KDEs, data lineage and data quality concepts • Familiarity with other tools in the data ecosystem (e.g., data quality tools, data catalogs, lineage tools) • Experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI is a plus Our benefits package includes: • Comprehensive medical benefits • Competitive pay • 401(k) retirement plan • ...and much more!
