Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Cloud Solutions Architect to join their rapidly growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and managing robust and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for our diverse clientele. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and clients to understand their technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, services, and best practices across major cloud platforms. Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Develop migration strategies for moving existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to the cloud. Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, automation, and operational excellence. Collaborate with engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and deployment pipelines. Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends. Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, diagrams, and runbooks. Advise clients on cloud strategy, adoption, and governance. Participate in client calls and present technical solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. Proven expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong understanding of networking, security, and database technologies in a cloud context. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
