Job Title: Power BI Developer/Analyst Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL (hybrid 3 days a week) Tax Term: W2 Job Type: Contract Duration: 12 - month contract to hire Job Description: The Power BI Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Power BI environment. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as providing support to end-users. Must have: Strong SQL skills and experience, writing complex queries to setup gateways Power BI Any Analytics experience, crystal reports, Jaspersoft etc. Any Cloud experience but primarily Azure. Security, configs within the cloud Confident independent thinker who can come in on day 1 and get the job done Tableau is a nice to have also Key Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain the Power BI environment, handling workspaces, datasets, and dataflows. Track and enhance the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards. Enforce security protocols to safeguard data and ensure adherence to company policies. Perform quarterly security reviews to ensure Power BI applications, reports, and datasets are shared with appropriate users. Work closely with business analysts and data engineers to define data needs and provide efficient BI solutions. Offer technical assistance and training to end-users. Stay informed on the latest Power BI updates and industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience as a Power BI Administrator or in a comparable position. In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Report Server. Proficient in DAX and Power Query. Experience working with SQL and data modeling techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Apolis
