Primary Responsibilities: • Lead Power Platform application development and modernization efforts across all project phases • Provide technical oversight for low-code/no-code solution development using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Platform Dataverse • Coordinate database development and migration from legacy systems (Microsoft Access) to modern platforms • Supervise and guide development team members including software developers and programmers • Ensure technical solutions meet USCG requirements, DHS cybersecurity policies, and compliance standards • Design software architecture and customize solutions for optimal operational efficiency • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze user needs and develop comprehensive software solutions • Lead technical decision-making for complex application problems and system integration challenges Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum 10+ years of software development experience with demonstrated subject matter expertise • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) • Extensive experience with low-code/no-code application development platforms • Strong background in database architecture, design, and migration projects • Experience with API development and system integration • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Agile methodologies • Understanding of government cybersecurity requirements and compliance standards • Security clearance eligibility Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. • 10+ years of experience supporting U.S. federal or Department of Defense IT modernization projects. • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600).
