CLAIMS REVIEWERS / QUALITY CONTROL / APPEALS SPECIALISTS We are hiring Claims Reviewers, Quality Control Specialists, and Appeals Specialists to support the FEMA Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office. These positions will be instrumental in ensuring claim documentation is accurate, policy-compliant, and thoroughly reviewed prior to payment or escalation. Ideal candidates will bring experience in FEMA claims, property insurance, estimating, or appeals processes. ABOUT THE PROJECT: This project supports FEMA's Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office, which was established to administer compensation for individuals and businesses impacted by the Hermit’s Peak and Calf Canyon Fires in New Mexico. The program ensures claims are reviewed accurately, fairly, and in compliance with federal law. Positions on this project support technical reviews, legal coordination, field inspections, and administrative processing. Key Responsibilities: • Review submitted documentation for completeness and adherence to FEMA requirements • Identify discrepancies, eligibility issues, or duplication of benefits • Ensure all claims are accurately categorized and tracked through the process • Conduct internal quality checks and review team outputs for policy alignment • Support the preparation and review of appeal files, including drafting summaries • Communicate findings and request clarifications or additional documentation as needed Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (insurance, construction, public policy, etc.) • 3–5 years of experience for mid-level roles; 5+ years for senior-level roles • Background in FEMA, disaster recovery, insurance claims, or public sector programs • Familiarity with federal eligibility policies, DOB analysis, or estimating principles • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with large document sets • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims tracking systems Why Join iParametrics?
