Systems Administrator @St. Louis, MO Title: Systems Administrator Location: Onsite: St. Louis, MO Duration: 12 Months Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. Working closely with our senior administrators, you will play a key role in supporting our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functioning. Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software-related problems. Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus programs. Collaborate with senior administrators to implement security measures and perform regular system updates. Document system configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference. Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to system emergencies. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to contribute to the improvement of system efficiency. Requirements: Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) is a plus. Experience with Storage/Back-ups is a plus.
