The Security Systems Administrator, assigned to a specific client, will be responsible for the delivery of the Technical Security program. The Administrator engages daily with third party integrators, supporting their implementation team with integrated solutions and commissioning, regional maintenance function, and problem solving. Responsibilities • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. • Support the deployment of the client's security solution and ensure full functionality; this will include CCTV infrastructure, access control platforms, and other enterprise-wide systems. • Troubleshoot any system malfunctions within the assigned region. • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all systems. • Attend relevant project meetings/site reviews as required. • Manage system installations, system refresh, and upgrades as directed. • Communicate with key stakeholders, including business customers, managers, and end users. • Contribute to technical security program projects , as assigned by the Systems Security Manager and Senior Manager. • Identify and highlight project delivery risks and implement suitable mitigation. • Evaluate, beta test, and recommend new technologies. • Develop best practices and training materials for systems use that maximize utilization. • All other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science with two or more years of experience in a technical/physical security integration/project management/consulting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. • Technical or security certification, preferred. • Knowledge and understanding of managed network infrastructure and basic electrical installation principles, including installation and maintenance principles of IP based CCTV. • Understanding of security compliance requirements, preferred. • Extensive knowledge in installing, commissioning, and maintaining global access control systems, S2, Lenel, or Honeywell. C-Cure preferred. • Familiarity with hardware integration techniques. • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. • Attentive to detail and accuracy. • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines. • Client orientated and results driven. • Able to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions. • Experience in the utilization of CAD for project layouts, AutoCAD preferred. • Computer skills: Microsoft Office.
