Job Title: SharePoint Administrator Expert (SME) Location : On-Site at Ft. Belvoir in Alexandria, VA Clearance Level: TS/SCI Job Description: Strategic Business Systems is hiring a SharePoint Administrator SME. This individual will make meaningful contributions that fuel critical outcomes for some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a SharePoint Administrator Expert (SME), the work you'll do will be impactful supporting mission of US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). * Provide Microsoft SharePoint 2019 administrator support for a large customer within the DoD community. Administrator will be tasked with assisting in the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint 2019 architectures * Assist with SharePoint farm upgrades and deployments * Experience and knowledge with SharePoint Online administration * Experience administering Windows Servers, Active Directory including ADFS, DNS, SMTP, Network Load Balancing, Windows Firewall, Event Viewer Performance Monitoring and PowerShell scripting * Experience configuring and maintaining SharePoint Enterprise search, index configurations, and scheduling * Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environment * Provide critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting including site problems, address site permission issues, creation and configuration of sites and sub-sites, assist in definition of site resources * Plans for and install service packs, hotfixes, updates and patches during off-peak time as required and communicate any downtime to business * Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss * Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data * Reviewing usage and activity reports and adjusting systems ensure optimized user-experiences * Experience with Information Assurance practices and principles (ex. STIGs) * Provide security operations or coordinates security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation-risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process * Participate in the design and implementation of methods, procedures, and systems to improve the processing and flow of information within the organization. * Develop workflows, automations and other powerapps to improve pilot/project delivery and artifact management * Enable knowledge flow to enhance shared understanding, learning and decision-making for programs critical to effective mission command (MC). * May serve as a technical consultant to a project or several projects dealing with area of technical expertise * Coordinates with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs * Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects; consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects * Performs functional modeling based on requirements analysis * Generates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel * Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems * Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials * May serve as technical team or task lead WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: * Education: High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience * Preferred Skills: * Knowledge/experience of Army command structures and possess the ability to integrate knowledge into SharePoint infrastructure for leadership and user consumption. * Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service * Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively including attention to detail * Proficient with Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint * Clearance Level: TS/SCI * Required Certification(s): * DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract * IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent * Required Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2019, Azure Administrator Fundamentals, or equivalent * Additional : * Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract * Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity * Travel may be required to support the mission About SBS: Strategic Business Systems, Inc.
