Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE. eNGINE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (PaaS / Azure) to support our client, an established financial technology firm modernizing trading and wealth management platforms. You’ll work on PaaS-based Azure applications, microservices, and modern cloud-native tools—helping to evolve the systems that drive performance and scalability across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities • Develop, deploy, and enhance Azure-based PaaS applications and microservices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine, support, and evolve existing trading and wealth management systems. • Participate in CI/CD pipeline development, cloud infrastructure automation, and code reviews. • Work with GraphQL APIs, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters to optimize scalability and performance. • Document design decisions, architectural standards, and operational procedures. • Ensure application reliability, resiliency, and security align with financial industry best practices. Required Skills & Experience • 6–10+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within financial services or fintech. • Strong background in Azure cloud platforms (App Services, Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage). • Proficiency in .NET Core / C# and microservice architecture. • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and Git. • Hands-on experience with GraphQL and unit testing frameworks. • Familiarity with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and distributed systems design. • Excellent communication and documentation habits; able to work collaboratively in remote, cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills • Experience in financial products, trading systems, or wealth management platforms. • Working knowledge of React, Bicep/ARM templates, and DDD (Domain-Driven Design). • Exposure to scalability, performance tuning, and resilient cloud design.
