Power Bi Developer job at Dexian - Signature Consultants. Golden Valley, MN. Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a Power Bi Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Golden Valley, MN. Responsibilities: • Design and develop data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI desktop and service • Work with our data engineering team to align on the delivery of underlying data through our Azure Databricks based, Lakehouse architecture • Follow established data security, refresh, and governance policies using Power BI service • Troubleshoot and optimize the performance and quality of the Power BI solutions • Collaborate with the business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and expectations • Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews • Provide thought guidance around opportunities for improvement of the PowerBI service and dashboard development process • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Power BI and data analytics • Support other offshore PowerBI resources, as needed Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university • At least 4 years of experience in working with Power BI, the Microsoft BI stack, and SQL Server Management Studio • Proficiency in data modeling, DAX, data transformation, and visualization techniques • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; possesses strong organization and prioritization skills • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment • Experience with project management and scrum tools, especially those in the Microsoft Azure stack (Azure DevOps) • Experience working with offshore contractor resources and/or experience in leading a team of Power BI developers • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python • Experience presenting data for C-level stakeholders • Experience working with Databricks Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
