Piper Companies is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer in Test (Mobile SET) for a leading technology organization in the Raleigh, NC area. The Mobile SET will have a strong background in mobile testing, test automation, and experience with tools such as Appium. The Mobile Software Engineer in Test role is hybrid onsite in Raleigh, NC (3 days/week). Responsibilities for the Mobile Software Engineer in Test include: • Design and maintain mobile test automation frameworks for iOS and Android using tools like Appium and Maestro • Execute tests across devices via BrowserStack, emulators, and physical hardware • Align automation with mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Expo) and validate backend APIs using Postman • Develop test scenarios from requirements to support a Shift-Left QA strategy • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, AWS, and Jenkins • Collaborate with development managers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to embed testing into the development lifecycle • Advocate for quality assurance and continuous improvement across the SDLC Requirements for the Mobile Software Engineer in Test include: • 3+ years of experience in mobile testing and automation • Strong background in test automation and mobile environments • Proficient in JavaScript, C#, or Java for writing automated frameworks and tests • Experience with tools such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, and Maestro • Familiarity with cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) • Strong understanding of end-to-end testing, performance testing, and backend API validation • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills Compensation for the Mobile Software Engineer in Test: • $90,000-$115,000 annually • Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law • This job opens for applications on Ocober 10th, 2025.
