Integris Group is partnering with an established corporate client in Orlando, a recognized leader in the hospitality industry, to identify a Senior Data Engineer/Architect for a full-time, permanent position. This is a Hybrid role based at their Orlando corporate headquarters — onsite Monday through Thursday, with Fridays remote (no exceptions). Job Summary: The Senior Data Architect/Engineer leads the design, development, and evolution of enterprise data architecture while contributing to the delivery of robust, scalable data solutions. This role blends architecture and engineering responsibilities, requiring expertise in solution architecture, pipeline development, and data platform strategy. The ideal candidate will define architectural standards, evaluate new tools, guide enterprise data initiatives, and be hands-on with data engineering tasks such as pipeline development, data modeling, and cloud optimization. This role will partner closely with data product teams, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build modern data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and advanced AI/ML initiatives. Our client is going through an AI transformation, which is creating opportunity for growth! The company is also going through a Salesforce Modernization - this person will be responsible for leading the responsible for creating standards for application architecture across the enterprise and working with the Solutions Architect and other Tech Leads. Job Requirements: • At least 6+ years of Data Engineering and/or Architecture experience. • Lead the design and documentation of scalable data frameworks, including data lakes, warehouses, data integration, streaming architectures, and cloud-native data platforms (Azure). • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL DB, and Databricks. Experience with building ETL pipelines. • Experience moving data in and out to different companies and 3rd party vendors. • Experience creating Data APIs and Data Modeling. • Experience with programming and queries using SQL. • Strong understanding of metadata management, data governance, security, and lineage. • Proficient in modern data modeling approaches: star/snowflake schemas, data vault, and normalized forms. • Strong programming and query skills i.e. (SQL, Python, Spark). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
