Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of various systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and information security principles. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting our organization’s IT needs and enhancing overall efficiency. Responsibilities • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity. • Administer and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, databases, and networking equipment. • Implement and manage RAID controllers, load balancing solutions, and firewall configurations. • Assist in system design and architecture for new projects, ensuring alignment with service-oriented architecture principles. • Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal operation. • Document technical procedures, system configurations, and user guides for future reference. • Participate in the development of IT policies related to information security and disaster recovery. • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT support. Skills • Proficiency in system administration across various operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX. • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls. • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. • Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service orientation.
