Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote possible within 1-2 hours of office) Type: Contract / W2 Pay Rate: $47.74 – $64.59/hour Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM About the Role: CTG’s client, a Fortune 500 company with a 15+ year partnership, is seeking a senior IT Analyst to support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud identity management. You’ll partner with IT Architecture, Security, Operations, and Project Management teams to lead initiatives, mentor team members, and implement best practices that improve efficiency and security. What You’ll Do: • Design, configure, and support Active Directory and Azure AD environments. • Establish policies, standards, and guidelines for identity and access management. • Lead infrastructure projects and provide technical consultation for IT initiatives. • Mentor team members and promote operational best practices. • Oversee change management, incident/problem management, and disaster recovery processes. • Provide escalated support for business-critical issues. Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in Active Directory / Windows administration and enterprise IT infrastructure. • Hands-on experience with private and public cloud (Azure, AWS). • Expertise in AD design, migration, security, backup/restore, and health monitoring. • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD on-premises, Azure AD, ADFS, M365 integration, Multi-Factor Authentication. • Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and disaster recovery. • Strong communication, presentation, and crisis management skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with AD tiering/partitioning (Red Forest, Tier 0/1/2, Privileged Access Workstations). • Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments. • Familiarity with tools such as Netwrix Password Policy Enforcer or Quest Recovery Manager. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED minimum required.
