Compensation: $50/hour + 4.93 Health & Welfare Responsibilities: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving organizational processes, enhancing productivity, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of database design, analytics, and business analysis. Support data analytics for the Office of Design and Move Services at the US House of Representatives. Performs analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives and productivity improvements. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough analyses of business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement. • Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to gather, interpret, and present data effectively. • Develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and understand their needs for data management. • Design and maintain databases to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. • Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner. • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics • Must be proficient in PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite (0365) • Makes use of tools, spreadsheets and databases in performing job duties • Must be proficient in Excel with advanced functions, pivot tables, vLookup, charts, graphs, etc. • Competence in organizing and facilitating meetings, developing schedules, generating reports, and conducting analyses tailored to project specifications • Knowledge and experience applying analytic methodologies and principles to address client needs. • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives and contributes to the implementation of strategic direction. • Performs analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives. • Conducts activities in support of the project team's objectives • Undertakes studies and analyses to identify areas for productivity improvement. • Works closely with the Manager or Team Leads • Strong analytical skills with the ability to vaticinate trends from complex datasets. • Proficiency in database design and management techniques. • Experience with analytics tools and methodologies. • Solid understanding of business analysis principles and practices. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to smash through complex information for diverse audiences.
