Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant for a short-term engagement to support the technical implementation of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) API integration into our web application for automated user provisioning. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, RESTful APIs, and secure coding practices. Responsibilities -API Integration: Design and develop integrations between our application and Microsoft Entra ID APIs. -Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance and recommendations on best practices for Microsoft Entra ID API usage, authentication flows, and authorization mechanisms. -Code Development: Create clean, efficient, and well-documented workflows and other necessary code and scripts for API interactions, ensuring scalability and maintainability. -Security & Compliance: Ensure all integrations adhere to the highest security standards and compliance requirements. -Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including API usage guides, integration specifications, and troubleshooting procedures. -Knowledge Transfer: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with our internal development team to ensure smooth handover and ongoing support. Qualifications -Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in designing, developing, and implementing integrations with Microsoft Entra ID APIs. -Technical Skills: --Strong knowledge and proficiency relevant to API development related technologies, languages, and protocols. --In-depth understanding of RESTful API principles and practices. --Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID concepts, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Microsoft Graph API. --Familiarity with secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10). --Experience with Bubble.io is a plus. -Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. -Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. -Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
