Description Align is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our expanding Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience, particularly in managing and supporting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and distributed systems. This role is crucial in the administration, implementation, and ongoing support of Microsoft-based infrastructures, focusing primarily on Office 365, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Collaborating with our IT Service Desk, you will resolve complex technical issues, contribute to client onboarding processes, and provide white-glove VIP support. You will also play a significant role in training new clients and maintaining a stable, secure IT environment. This hybrid position requires in-office presence once per week and participation in a rotational on-call schedule that includes overnights and weekends. Skills • 5–8+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows-based systems administration and support • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, IIS • Hands-on experience with Office 365 and Azure AD • Proficiency with Exchange Online • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud App Security • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune • Experience with multi-site Active Directory environments • Exposure to diverse hardware platforms • Solid understanding of networking concepts • Experience with file sharing technologies • Deployment of Azure Virtual Desktop Responsibilities • Provide advanced administration and support for Office 365, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID (Azure AD) • Act as a Level 3 escalation for the IT Service Desk • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers and Architects • Administer Windows Server environments • Manage Azure Virtual Desktop • Troubleshoot Azure MFA, Conditional Access policies, and Exchange Online configurations • Assist with onboarding activities and ensure thorough documentation • Address support tickets and maintain infrastructure integrity • Lead or assist with disaster recovery tests Qualifications • 5–8+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows-based systems administration and support • Strong foundational knowledge of security policies and compliance standards • Server hardening experience and documentation skills • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrative Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) are preferred Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred Education Requirements Credential Category • Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies are a plus Experience Requirements • At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing Microsoft-based infrastructures • Proven track record in supporting and administering systems relevant to the role Why work in New York, NY New York City offers a vibrant and diverse environment, rich in culture, history, and innovation.
