Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Business Account Experience Specialist for our client, a major player in the retail energy sector. This role is ideal for customer-focused professionals who excel in account management, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be at the center of client interactions, ensuring high-quality service while helping drive key operational outcomes. Responsibilities: • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and attention to detail. • Resolve issues related to remittances, billing, pricing, and renewals by coordinating with internal teams. • Reconcile and analyze customer accounts, escalating unresolved matters as needed. • Prepare and interpret Excel-based reports on billing, payments, and balances for customers and brokers. • Perform financial analysis to determine adjustments for credits, refunds, and lost savings. • Communicate resolution outcomes clearly to customers and stakeholders. • Maintain accurate customer interaction records in management systems. • Support contract renewals and ensure customers understand contract terms and services. • Conduct customer surveys to measure service quality and Net Promoter Scores. • Identify call trends and report issues to management. • May take on additional responsibilities, including subject matter expertise or employee engagement initiatives. Qualifications: • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, billing, collections, or the energy industry preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to make informed, fact-based decisions quickly. • Able to learn and navigate multiple systems to support customer service.
