Job Description As part of the Channel Device as a Services (DaaS) team you will be responsible for selling an expanding portfolio of services and financial services along with award-winning PCs to Lenovo’s Channel Partners into the biggest partners for Lenovo in the region. In this role, you will be expected to own their partner sales within this subset of partners whilst proactively supporting the transformation of Lenovo’s towards an as-a-Service sales motion. You will be expected to attain sales targets through driving new business and evangelizing Lenovo’s Device as a Service offering. You will need to demonstrate the ability to take initiative and provide leadership in a growing business within the DaaS Channel Small Business (SMB) Sales Team as well as the local North America (NA( Service Solutions Group and the local One Lenovo hardware teams. You will need to have a successful track record of selling services and solutions that enable or enhance a PC hardware sale into Nationals. You will champion the innovative power of our DaaS Proposition to support these defined Channel Partners making companies more productive, collaborative, and transformative. You will need to understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning products and develop strategies to drive your book of business. Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and close new DaaS sales opportunities within the National partner base with a hyper-focus on Total Contract Value (TCV) attainment of the associated Channel SMB aspiration targets. • Develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals with the local teams. • Develop C level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant with these strategicChannel Partners at all levels. • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments and how to incorporate them into an “as a Service” model • Be a local Subject Matter Expert on both simple and complex DaaS commercial models and ways for Lenovo Channel Partners to conduct XaaS business with Lenovo. • Effectively and consistently use Microsoft Dynamics to proactively manage pipeline Basic Qualifications • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience • 5+ years of successful North American NSP IT/PC/Services business development experience Preferred Qualifications • Consumption-based sales experience in SaaS, DaaS, or Cloud Services • Understanding of Subscription/Lease financial solutions • Experience with MS Dynamics • Proven success in proactively building new business • A strategic mindset and sound business acumen are required, along with effective decision-making, and partner management skills • Excellent communication, both oral and written, and strong presentation skills • Strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines • Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism, entrepreneurialism, and agility • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization with a teaming attitude • Ability to demonstrate a strong network within this partner base • Demonstrated track record of high performance in global or regional IT Channel position • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Travel requirements for this role are estimated at 35% The base salary range budgeted for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.
