Job Title: Cloud Architect Location: Atlanta, GA Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate current technology selections and make recommendations for improvement • Assist internal teams moving to the cloud by architecting migration strategies unique for each service and their workloads • Collaborate with the CIO office when making connectivity decisions to support hybrid cloud operations • Enhance the current CI/CD pipeline to enable "one touch" deployment • Lead Cloud adoption Required Skills and Experience: • 6+ years of experience working with software engineering teams in designing and building GCP/Azure Cloud platforms and infrastructure • 2+ years of experience working with cloud security concepts; like managing SW lifecycles, user administration, vulnerability and code scans, data privacy/encryption • 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and containerized platforms • 2+ years of experience with data monitoring and logging tools like Sensu, StackDriver or Prometheus • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and technology; like Harness, Jenkins, GitHub and Artifactory • 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as Go, Node.js, Java, Python • 2+ years of Cloud network architecture experience • 2+ years of experience working with IAC/CM technology; like Terraform, Helm, Chef and Salt • Ability to document and publish recommendations and guidance • Understanding of cloud security tools and how to mitigate risk • Ability to build solutions based on input provided by developers and product owners • Strong written and communication skills Preferred Skills and Experience: • 10+ years in Cloud Architecture • 3+ years network architecture • 3+ years management experience for teams of 10 - 20 people • GCP Professional Cloud Architect or similar certification • Experience creating hybrid cloud models to include supporting cloud and managed datacenter • Experience building and implementing change across large organizations
