Job Title: Senior Database/SQL Developer Location: Miami, FL Position Overview: Fortune 200 company is seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to join onshore corporate IT Team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, with a strong background in database architecture, performance tuning, T-SQL Developer and a solid understanding of cloud-based data solutions, preferably within Microsoft Azure. The primary task will be maintenance, support, enhancement, and development of new database solutions, which consist of multiple SSIS packages, stored procedures, hard-coded tables, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and SSRS reports. Key Responsibilities: • Design, development, and maintenance of complex SQL databases, stored procedures, • SSIS packages, and Azure Data Factory pipelines. • Analyze existing database structures and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability. • Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to implement robust data solutions. • Optimize and troubleshoot queries, indexing strategies, and database bottlenecks. • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with internal and external standards. • Reverse engineering existing Code to understand/develop requirements. • Collaborate with software developers and system architects to optimize database usage and support application development. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in SQL Development. • Expertise in SQL Server 2016 T-SQL, performance tuning, query optimization, and database design. • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory. • Familiarity with source control systems like Git, Microsoft DevOps • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
