You will utilize a wide variety of technical support and troubleshooting skills to resolve infrastructure, hardware, and software issues, working independently and escalating complex issues as appropriate. Job Purpose The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for handling advanced support service requests in a professional and timely manner. This includes support for all technology, such as workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software. Onsite support for client needs is also required. Duties and Responsibilities Provide support for technical issues involving core business applications, virtual environments built on Microsoft, Parallels, and VMware Design, implement, and support Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, etc. Engineer and implement system solutions tailored to customer needs Assist in developing disaster recovery solutions Provide technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, security Implement and support remote access solutions: VPN, Terminal Services, Parallels Create system documentation and provide consulting services, including system reviews and recommendations Communicate with customers: inform them of incident progress, notify of changes and outages Follow a daily schedule established through the dispatch process Qualifications 2-4 years of hands-on experience Strong interpersonal skills: telephony, verbal and written communication, active listening, customer care Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes Technical awareness: match resources to technical issues effectively Service awareness of key IT services supported Familiarity with support tools, techniques, and technology use in IT services Typing skills for quick and accurate request entry Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Professional IT Certifications: Network+, Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, Cisco CCNA, Meraki CMNA AA/AS or BA/BS in computer science or related field (preferred) Previous MSP experience is helpful Working Conditions 40-hour workweek Local travel required Flexibility for different shifts and on-call availability as scheduled Physical Requirements Sitting for extended periods Dexterity for operating computer and related equipment Lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects such as computers and networking equipment Hourly Rate $22 - $31.25 Benefits Paid time off (PTO) Medical, Dental, Vision insurance 401K Powered by JazzHR 2njDmNpzt7 Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Internet Publishing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at cloudIT by 2x Get notified about new Information Technology System Administrator jobs in Phoenix, AZ .
