Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly Description: Title: Active Directory Engineer Location: Downtown Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX (Onsite Monday-Thursday, Friday WFH) Contract To Hire: Yes- 6 month to convert Contact: Nick Scott; 623-385-4785, nscott@judge.com Summary: Our client, a reputable bank, is seeking a skilled Active Directory Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. This is a hybrid role with a strong focus on both on-premises and Azure Active Directory, with future plans to potentially transition fully to Azure AD. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of architectural design expertise and hands-on administration, supporting a complex environment with 12 domain controllers across 5 domains. Must have Qualifications: • Need very strong hybrid (cloud & on premise) experience • Strong ADDS administration experience. • Proven experience with Active Directory migrations and GPO management. • Strong background in AD architecture and design. • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). • PowerShell scripting experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: • Design, architect, and support hybrid Active Directory environments. • Lead and execute AD migrations and domain consolidations. • Manage and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs). • Collaborate on security initiatives including MFA and Microsoft Entra ID. • Utilize PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks. • Contribute to strategic planning for a potential full Azure AD migration.
