Hi! I am building a secure game distribution platform to move away from selling vulnerable .exe files. The core of this system is a backend REST API built on Wix Velo that will handle user authentication, purchase verification, and secure game file delivery. This API will be the central "brain" that our custom game launcher (to be built by a separate developer) will communicate with. Key Responsibilities: 1.Build a REST-style API using Wix HTTP Functions a) /authenticateUser: Validate Wix user credentials and return a unique User ID b) /getUserGames: Return a list of purchased games from Wix Stores c) /requestDownload: Verify ownership, log the request, and return a signed Azure download URL (with optional rate limits) d) /reportPlaytime: Accept playtime data from the launcher for refund protection 2. Connect endpoints to Wix Authentication and Wix Stores 3. Set up Microsoft Azure Blob Storage for encrypted game files. You don’t need to implement encryption logic (e.g. AES-256) at this stage. Files may be pre-encrypted before upload. 4. Implement secure, time-limited download links 5. Use API keys or tokens to protect endpoints 6. Ensure JSON responses and clear error codes for future C++/C# launcher compatibility 7. Provide clear documentation for the launcher developer 8. Show me how to upload future encrypted games myself 9. Help set up basic database logic to track downloads and playtime 10. Transfer all rights to the API to me with job completion.
