Our client is seeking a Microsoft End Point Configuration Engineer to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This is an on-site, contract to hire role. This is a mid level role focused on endpoint patching, deployment, and system health across a large-scale enterprise environment. The right person brings some SCCM knowledge, solid Intune/MEM experience, and strong packaging, automation, and patch management capabilities — with a collaborative personality and ability to work in a highly visible, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: • SCCM administration for enterprise-wide patch deployment, software packaging, compliance monitoring, and reporting. • Leverage Microsoft Intune/MEM for imaging and endpoint management; assist in bridging SCCM + Intune coexistence. • Package and deploy applications using tools like Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield, or Avanti. • Manage and optimize Windows patching for both workstations and servers. • Bonus: support Linux patching (RHEL/Satellite) if experienced. • Troubleshoot SCCM client health and patch failures, and write automation scripts using PowerShell or VBScript. • Collaborate with vulnerability management teams to ensure full patch compliance. • Contribute to labor-saving automation and endpoint efficiency initiatives. Requirements: • 3+ years’ experience in SCCM/MECM administration, software packaging, and patch management. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager. • Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch). • Experience with 3rd-party packaging tools (e.g., Flexera, Avanti). • Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise deployment strategies. • Strong interpersonal skills – must be comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating at multiple levels. • Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration. Nice to Have: • Experience with Red Hat Linux patching using Satellite. • Experience with Just-In-Time provisioning or endpoint automation. • CompTIA Security+, MCSE/MCTS. • Experience working in hospitality, gaming, or similar fast-paced, regulated environments.
