Senior Azure/G.C.P DevOps Engineer || Only (G.C / U.S.C) 6+Months Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Please Note - This role is 100% onsite in Cincinnati, OH. Only Need W2 Candidates. Position Overview: The Senior DevOps Engineer will spearhead the creation, upkeep, and refinement of automated software deployment frameworks and cloud infrastructure. This vital role unites teams in development, quality assurance, operations, and security to ensure swift product rollouts while emphasizing system reliability, efficiency, and security. Essential Qualifications: Expertise in Cloud Environments: Deep knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud Platform ecosystems Proficiency in Container Technologies: Skilled use of Docker and Kubernetes clusters Mastery in Continuous Integration/Delivery: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD platforms Infrastructure as Code: Commanding experience with Terraform or other IaC tools Scripting Proficiency: Demonstrable skill in scripting with Bash or PowerShell Systems Monitoring: Working knowledge in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and others for system insights Source Control Acumen: Proficient with Git practices and branch management strategies Network Fundamentals: Understanding of core network principles (DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS) Principal Duties: Automation of Infrastructure: Construct and oversee infrastructure through code employing tools such as Terraform Pipeline Development: Assemble and uphold CI/CD pipelines to promote efficient software deployments via GitHub or equivalent platforms Strategic Planning: Chart comprehensive strategic plans for deployment of Azure clusters, CI/CD systems, and scalable cloud solutions Container Orchestration: Command orchestration solutions like Helm and related tools for container management Active Cloud Engagement: Direct involvement with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform management Kubernetes Mastery: Extensive familiarity with Kubernetes structure and operations Systems Oversight: Structure and maintain systems for logs, metrics, and alerts to assure operational integrity Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage with teams across various operational spectrums to ensure application fluidity Security Protocols: Administer and refine security measures within DevOps procedures to thwart vulnerabilities Problem Resolution: Tackle and solve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges Documentation Excellence: Keep meticulous records pertaining to tools, procedures, and infrastructure Interpersonal Qualities: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, superior communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork
