Senior IT Analyst, Business Systems Location: Atlanta, GA based, Remote Employment Type: Full-time, Individual Contributor About the Role Are you a problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of business and technology? We’re looking for a Senior IT Analyst, Business Systems to join our team and play a critical role in shaping, improving, and supporting the systems that drive our business. In this role, you’ll analyze complex business challenges, design cost-effective automated solutions, and collaborate with leaders across the organization. You’ll have the opportunity to influence key systems decisions, lead design and testing initiatives, and deliver innovative solutions that make a real impact. This is a hands-on, independent contributor position where your expertise, creativity, and attention to detail will help bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. What You’ll Do • Partner with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business requirements and resolve system issues. • Lead design sessions and prototyping to enhance business processes and workflows. • Review and optimize existing systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness. • Define scope, outcomes, and measurable success criteria for system improvements. • Collaborate on the planning, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements. • Research and evaluate software and hardware solutions to support purchasing and implementation. • Assess third-party applications requiring data migration and integration. • Deliver analytical and operational support to business leaders and end users. • Develop and present reports, proposals, and ROI analyses to guide management decisions. • Coordinate and execute testing, training, and post-implementation support. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. What You Bring • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst. • Strong working knowledge of SQL, HCS, ERPs, EHRs/EMRs, and Claims Billing Systems. • Technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, JAVA, Microsoft Web Services, and related platforms. • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP) and database standards. • Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments. • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills—able to translate between technical and business audiences. • A customer-focused, collaborative mindset with a high level of self-motivation and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or MIS (or equivalent 6+ years of experience). • CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) preferred. • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Database certification preferred. • CASQ (Certified Associate in Software Quality) certification preferred.
