Job Title: PowerApps Architect Location: Indiana, IN / Kentucky, KY / St. Louis, MO Duration: 12+ Months Contract Key Skills: PowerApps basics, Licensing Model, Power app CI/CD, App Promotions to different environments & Custom connectors development. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PowerApps Architect with 10+ years of experience in application development and at least 4 5 years specifically in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, modern app development, and a proven track record in delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric Power Platform solutions for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy advanced canvas and model-driven Power Apps solutions. • Automate business processes using Power Automate (Flow) and integrate with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and other third-party systems. • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define business logic, and translate them into efficient app workflows and solutions. • Implement custom connectors, plugins , and APIs where standard connectors fall short. • Design robust data models using Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server , or other connected data sources. • Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Azure Functions. • Ensure best practices in governance, security, and performance optimization. • Conduct code reviews, technical documentation, and mentorship for junior developers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, architects, and DevOps. Required Skills and Experience: • 10+ years of experience in application development, preferably with .NET, C#, JavaScript, or another Microsoft tech stack. • 4+ years hands-on experience in developing apps using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI . • Experience with Dataverse , SharePoint Online , SQL , Azure Logic Apps , and custom connectors . • Deep understanding of Canvas and Model-driven apps , component libraries, and responsive design techniques. • Strong understanding of security roles , environment strategies, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and DevOps for Power Platform . • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git integration for Power Platform. • Experience in using PowerShell and CLI for Microsoft 365 for environment and tenant-level tasks. • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 , Microsoft Graph API, and Azure services is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Manufacturing Domian experience. • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400, PL-900) • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Strong communication and client-facing skills. • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) .
