The Technical Lead / System Administrator is responsible for overseeing technical operations ensuring correct approach to completion of operational activities and tasks, ensuring no operations or services are degraded, ensuring adequate coverage at all times, implementing and ensuring best practices, advising staff on technical activities and troubleshooting processes, and providing advice and counsel on emerging technology. Responsibilities • Investigate changes requested by personnel to resolve enterprise services determined to be operating at a degraded state or not operating as intended • Resolve, as quickly as possible, any enterprise service determined to be operating at a degraded state or not operating as intended • Maintain responsibility for all aspects related to the on-premise and in the cloud endpoint management solutions and operation (e.g., patching, upgrading, technical refreshes, troubleshooting, resolution, root cause analysis, management console, privileged access, infrastructure monitoring and reporting, engineering new solutions, etc.) following approved processes and procedures • Provide component and services management, administration, and engineering services for designated storage and backup services residing on-premise and, in the approved cloud environment(s) • Ensure the designated resources, components, and services are proficiently managed, secured, and remain in an operational state, as well as complying with customer requirements and approved cybersecurity best practices • Provide support to systems management, administration, and engineering services of the approved storage and backup solutions residing on-premise and, in the approved cloud environment(s) • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in performing operational roles similar to the roles required for this contract • 3+ years demonstrated technical experience managing a group of technical, engineering, and/or scientific analysts • Possess and maintain in good standing recent certification related to implemented technologies (e.g., Microsoft certification or relevant role-based Microsoft certification, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, etc.) • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Public Trust Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong technical knowledge and leadership • Proficiency in developing, maintaining, scripting, automating, and coding in a secure manner • Experience in performing their duties for both on-premise systems and cloud-hosted (e.g., MS Azure or Amazon Web Services) environments • Experience with Microsoft Windows (Server and Client), Red Hat Enterprisse Linux (RHEL), Macintosh, Nutanix, Cohesity, Trellix Suite, HCL BigFix, JAMF Pro • Experience providing technical support and guidance to project team members • Experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills • Experience designing and implementing the components required for complex technical functions How you'll grow At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
