The A/V Account Executive at US Enhanced is responsible for building and maintaining B2B client relationships in the AV industry, focusing on lead generation and project management for events. The Account Executive will play a critical role in securing new B2B clients by prioritizing relationship-building, generating leads through trade shows, networking,prospecting, and project managing events from conception to final execution onsite. Success in this role hinges on possessing exceptional sales skills, in-depth knowledge of the AV industry, and a passion for fostering strong client connections to support the company’s growth. Working Schedule Routine business tasks are Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and outside of regular operating hours as necessary. Travel is a significant component and would require work and travel outside of routine business hours. This position is a base salary with a sales bonus structure, exempt from overtime without defined working hours, and the salary is based on 50 hours per week. Responsibilities ● Prospecting and Lead Generation: ○ Identify and target potential B2B clients in corporate, live events, and related sectors. ○ Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and trade show participation. ○ Engage with new and previous clients and follow up on leads to convert into profitable contracts. ○ Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings ○ Provide weekly updates on sales pipeline status and upcoming event timelines to management. ○ Research client needs to meet 35%+ profit margin requirements for events ● Client Acquisition, Retention, and Compliance ○ Arrange in-person meetings to pitch AVL services, tailoring solutions to client needs. ○ Deliver presentations and demonstrations showcasing capabilities. Build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business ○ Create and manage timelines for “sold” events, ensuring those timelines are met to deliver exceptional client experiences. ○ Act as the project lead, seeing all projects from start to finish, including quoting, managing project timelines, booking labor and travel, contracts, pre-event meetings, event design, and final on-site execution. ○ Prompt/timely and responsible communication to emails, phone calls, and other messages within one business day or less. ● Sales Strategy and Reporting ○ Create detailed sales quotes and site plans for clients ○ Design / work with set designer for client event sets and layouts ○ Develop a sales plan to acquire new clients and meet commission-based earning goals. ○ Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client contracts, and profit margins ○ Provide regular updates on pipeline status and upcoming prospective events ● General Duties ○ Be a self-starter, proactively identifying and solving problems to support client and company objectives. ○ Collaborate and assist other team members and departments, including sales, technical, and project management, to ensure seamless event delivery. ○ Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving needs. Qualifications ● **CONFIDENTIALITY** ○ This position may have access to confidential company information or be covered under NDA’s from clients. Any public release of this information or photos without supervisor approval may result in immediate termination of employment. ● Experience ○ 3–5 years of outside sales or client relationship management experience, preferably in AV, event production, or related sectors. ○ Proven ability to secure B2B clients and meet sales targets in a commission-driven environment. ○ Experience with trade shows or industry events for lead generation (preferred). ○ Experience in event coordination or site leadership (preferred). ● Education ○ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience in event-based client management ● Skills ○ Strong sales and negotiation skills to close deals with 35% + profit margins. ○ Strong understanding of AV systems (e.g., audio, video, lighting) or ability to learn quickly. ○ Leadership skills with the ability to lead/direct a team ○ Excellent communication and presentation skills in both oral and written form ○ Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft 360, Slack, BaseCamp, and Flex Rental Solutions. ○ Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organization and record-keeping skills. ○ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple clients, timelines, and event logistics simultaneously ● Attributes ○ Highly self-motivated and comfortable in a performance-based compensation structure. ○ Adaptable to client needs and able to work independently ○ Proactive with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. ○ Responsive and professional in all communications, meeting tight deadlines. Physical Demands ● Ability to work more than 8 hours in a single shift ● Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel Requirements ● Travel is required as needed, both locally, nationally , and internationally ● Ability to drive and operate Non- CDL Vehicles as needed ● Valid Real-ID compliant driver’s license. Salary Starting will be at the rate of $30,000 per year, payable in accordance with the standard biweekly payroll schedule. Incentive Structure for New Sales/ Clients: 5% commission on the first five events for each client brought, 3% for each recurring event up to 20 events. All events towards counted towards must maintain a 35% + profit margin. Yearly Bonus Structure for New Sales/ Clients: ● $1,000,000–$10,000,000 in sales: $5,000 bonus for each $1,000,000 milestone ● $10,000,000 and above: $50,000 bonus for each $10,000,000 milestone Driving Incentives A $150 Driving Incentive can be claimed for those driving a company vehicle for 150 miles or more. To be eligible to drive a company vehicle, you must obtain and continuously pass a DOT physical. Per Diems A per diem of $50 can be claimed for each day of an overnight trip or travel days over 150 miles from the company site.
