Position is in India Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Hands-On Production Support Lead with a focus on Azure data engineering and production support. The ideal candidate will work with a technical team in building and supporting data solutions on the Azure platform. Location: Onsite 4 days a week in Hyderabad Office time: UK shift (this is a high-performance mission critical type environment that will require 10-12 hours daily commitment) Role: Full time Start: ASAP Salary - 22 lpa Key Responsibilities: · End-to-end design, development, and implementation of Azure data solutions. · Provide hands-on technical in the areas of Azure Data Services, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data pipelines, architectures, and data sets. · Ensure production support by troubleshooting issues and implementing timely resolutions. · Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are being followed for Python, SQL, and PySpark scripts. · Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. · Develop, test, and deploy ETL pipelines using Azure tools and ensure data accuracy and consistency. · Mentor junior engineers and foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation. · Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements in all solutions. · Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure transparency on project progress, roadblocks, and timelines. Required Skills & Experience: · 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure data services. · Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse. · Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark. · Proven experience in production support environments, with the ability to resolve critical issues efficiently. · Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data management best practices. · Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines and queries. · Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. · Location: Hyderabad-based with a requirement to work onsite 4 days a week. Preferred Qualifications: · Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect). · Experience in cloud-based data warehousing and big data processing. · Knowledge of data governance and security best practices About the Company: Thunderhawk Technology Partners LLC
