We have a unique opportunity for an experienced IT Manager/Senior Systems Administrator available with a well-established retail-focused organization in the sunny, tax-free Cayman Islands! We seek a motivated IT professional with current certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware (at minimum) to lead our clients IT function in Grand Cayman in a fully hands-on capacity. Reporting to the CFO, the IT Manager will oversee hardware, software, and network performance, security, and resiliency at a large retail location. Theyll also supervise an IT administrator and oversee third-party MSP/IT service providers when needed. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of hands-on systems design, procurement, installation, configuration, administration, and support experience covering Windows Server 2016/2022, VMware ESXi 8 and vSphere clusters, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Cisco and HP switches, wireless APs, firewalls, retail POS systems, IP CCTV, and more. A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to resolve IT issues outside normal office hours. Our client highly values current certifications. Key requirements include: Windows Server certifications: MCSE Core Infrastructure Server 2016 or newer such as Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (AZ-800 and AZ-801) Microsoft Exchange, Windows 10/11 and M365 certifications VMware certification - VCP 2023 or newer Valid Cisco CCNA certification at minimum (CCNP would be an advantage) Additional certifications from ITIL and/or CISSP or similar preferred This is a full time/employee role, on-site in George Town, Grand Cayman. Ideal candidates will have a high level of portability and enthusiasm for the opportunity to live and work in this idyllic Caribbean destination for 3 years or more!
