(Department of Transpotation or DMV) Position: Sr. Data Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) Experience and qualifications: · Database Design · SQL Server, DB2 experience. · Database back up, maintaining table partitions · Database Conversion, Cleansing, Migration · Application development or application support or application testing or a combination of those experiences. · Software development lifecycle methodologies · Ability to create and maintain required documentation. This includes documenting customer requirements, design flows and systems flow. · Leading or Supervising an IT Team · Written and verbal communications are clear, concise and achieve intended objectives · Problem Diagnosis skills [i.e., discovery, replication, troubleshooting, resolution, verification, communication and/or escalation as required] · Experience with writing test cases, executing those cases and leading technical training · BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering; MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent · MS Azure or MS Cloud certification · SQL Server SSIS management and/or framework · Parquet text maintenance knowledge · Must reside in North Carolina and can report on-site at short notice -- Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Raleigh, NC 27601
