Title: Project Manager – Data Migration (Microsoft Fabric / Azure) Experience – (Only w2 role and No C2C Accepted) Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Project Manager – Data Migration (Microsoft Fabric / Azure). Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients.We do not go through any vendors.STG only does business with direct end-clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it. Position Description: • Lead and deliver an existing enterprise data migration initiative using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies. • Drive project execution, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are effectively managed. • Coordinate across data, engineering, and business teams in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborate with end users to understand current systems and design future-state use cases aligned with modernization objectives. • Oversee data governance compliance, ensuring all organizational policies and approval protocols are followed. • Manage multiple data sources, including HR, Dialing, and FACS systems, throughout the migration process. • Partner with internal stakeholders and Microsoft-certified vendors to ensure high-quality delivery. • Support the decommissioning of the existing data lake and transition to the new Azure-based platform. Required Qualifications: • 10 years of experience leading large-scale data migration or transformation projects. • Strong background in project management methodologies with proven skills in planning, communication, and execution. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and associated Azure data and analytics tools. • Expertise in data governance principles and compliance frameworks. • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic, evolving environments. • Experience conducting user interviews, documenting requirements, and defining data-driven use cases.
