Job Description – System Administrator (Intermediate) / LARS Support Specialist Position Location: Nashville, TN 37243 (Onsite, with remote flexibility after training) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST (7.5 hrs/day) Position Summary The LARS Support Specialist will provide application-level support for the Licensure and Regulation System (LARS) and Zendesk. This role focuses on configuration, ticket resolution, workflow optimization, and change management—not general IT support such as desktop troubleshooting, hardware deployment, or server maintenance.Key Responsibilities • Manage and resolve support tickets in LARS and Zendesk, ensuring 100% response rate within 1 business day and closure within 3 business days. • Perform user administration tasks (password resets, status changes, new users, workflow reassignments). • Configure system settings, workflows, and permissions as requested. • Provide weekly status updates to requestors and the LARS Application Manager. • Collaborate with Application Coordinators, Trainers, and QA teams for requirement gathering, testing, and sign-off. • Maintain accurate documentation of all changes in the Application Change Log and SharePoint. Daily Tasks • Complete assigned support tickets promptly. • Log all communications and time spent in ServiceNow. • Track and document all configuration changes. • Support end-users with system inquiries and escalate as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills with ability to provide clear user support. • Customer Service: Experience assisting end-users in resolving application-level issues. • Application Support: Hands-on experience with Zendesk, LARS, or similar ticketing/workflow platforms (ServiceNow preferred). • Configuration & Documentation: Skilled in modifying system workflows, maintaining logs, and documenting system changes. • Collaboration: Ability to work across teams with coordinators, trainers, and QA personnel. • Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency. Preferred Knowledge • Familiarity with licensing and regulatory systems (healthcare/government preferred). • Understanding of IT support workflows and best practices. • Strong organizational skills for tracking tickets, timelines, and documentation Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week Work Location: In person
