Position: Intermediate System Administrator, Tier-3 Location: San Antonio, TX (On-Site) Clearance: U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Summary This contract provides 24/7/365 operations support. Applicant must be willing to work on-call, shift, or surge if required, and be flexible to travel. Must have a Real current passport. Work is on-site at or near Ft Sam Houston. Core hours are 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, with shift-work or on-call support. Telework may be considered with approval. Responsibilities • Analyze, validate, implement, maintain, and configure services and tools such as Active Directory, System Center Operations Manager, Quest, and Dell Quest maintenance tools. • Support LDAP architecture for authentication, synchronization, user provisioning, and authorization. • Validate data encryption services on desktops and laptops per customer and DoD regulations; support deployment and maintenance of data encryption solutions. • Manage and monitor Data Encryption services, ensuring systems are updated; deploy and upgrade encryption client packages and policies. • Support Tier 3 Enterprise Operations, validating Microsoft Intune (Cloud) and Bit Locker (On-Prem) solutions for compliance. • Design and test capability enhancements for MED 365, working with project teams to prioritize features. • Configure Cloud Service Offering (CSO) for data retention, red actions, policies, and deduplication; validate processes and conduct testing. • Process tickets from Tier II support, escalate as needed, and coordinate with vendors for resolution. • Develop communication plans for capability releases into IL5. • Monitor system uptime using MS SCOM, analyze enterprise monitoring, and produce performance reports. • Maintain disaster recovery procedures and ensure compliance with DISA STIGs. • Implement PKI and PKI-related encryption requirements per DoDI 8520.02; manage PKI in Windows environment. • Develop and document disaster recovery procedures, produce SOPs, and prepare After Action Reports as needed. Minimum Requirements • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust; successful background investigation. • Willingness to travel; Real U.S. Passport required. • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience with a BA/BS in IT, CS, Engineering Management, or related; or 6 years experience with a BA/BS in lieu of degree; or MA/MS with 2 years experience; or high school diploma with 8 years experience. • Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (must obtain within 6 months).
