Job Description Job Description Required Skills Word, azure, windows, SharePoint, Microsoft, ci/cd pipelines, troubleshooting, Additional Skills Job Description : & Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Engineer with extensive expertise in Microsoft services, particularly in Windows Server environments (2016 and greater). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core Microsoft on-premises infrastructure systems and services, as well as proficiency in Azure infrastructure core services. Experience with Microsoft SQL administration is highly desirable, along with strong PowerShell skills. Additionally, familiarity with DevOps practices using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security. - Manage and optimize core Microsoft on-premises infrastructure systems and services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. - Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure core services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage. - Administer Microsoft SQL databases, including installation, configuration, backup, and performance tuning. - Possess a deep understanding of core Microsoft services like Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and Storage Replica. - Develop and automate routine tasks and processes using PowerShell scripting. - Preferred - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps practices using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. - Preferred - VMware vCenter and vSphere experience are nice to have. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing technical expertise. Qualifications: - Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Azure certifications will take priority. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Microsoft services. - In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments (2016 and greater) and core Microsoft on-premises infrastructure systems and services. - Proficiency in Azure infrastructure core services, including hands-on experience with deployment and management. - Experience with Microsoft SQL administration, including database installation, configuration, and optimization. - Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and task automation. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, particularly using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
