Raymond James is seeking a DevOps Engineer with Java development skills and a solid understanding of .NET build and deployment processes. In this role, you'll help streamline software delivery across the firm by building internal tools, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting .NET deployments. Note: This role does not involve active .NET development. However, a solid understanding of .NET build and deployment workflows is essential. • *Job Description** • *_This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month._** • *_Please note: This role is not eligible for immigration_** **_Work Visa_** **_sponsorship, either currently or in the future._** • *What You’ll Do:** + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize software delivery. + Build and maintain internal tools and integrations using **Java** . + Support and troubleshoot **.NET build and deployment pipelines** . + Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines. + Monitor deployments using automated testing and quality gates. + Participate in a **rotating on-call schedule** (once every 7 weeks; minimal after-hours support). • *Requirements:** + Experience with **Java** for backend development and pipeline integration + Experience with **.NET build tools** (MSBuild, NuGet, .NET CLI) + Experience in **DevOps, CI/CD** , or **build/release engineering** + Experience with **Jenkins** (Groovy a plus) + Solid understanding of Git and source control strategies + Excellent troubleshooting skills for build and deployment issues + Comfortable working in a hybrid environment + Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule • *Bonus Skills:** + Experience with Azure DevOps Server, SonarQube, and CI/CD metrics tools + Exposure to cloud-native deployments (Azure, AWS) + Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular) + Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python + Experience in regulated or enterprise environments + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Eagerness to learn and share knowledge • *Why Join Raymond James?** As a DevOps Engineer at Raymond James, you’ll play a key role in modernizing and optimizing how software is built, tested, and deployed.
