Job Title: Enterprise Architect 4 (Technical Lead) Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite) Interview Type: Webcam Interview Only Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Lead for a cloud-based software development project currently underway. This role will provide leadership and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project management policies and delivering quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and guide the project development team. • Collaborate with project manager to ensure project governance compliance. • Validate and review project deliverables. • Monitor project progress and report status, risks, and issues to leadership. • Serve as liaison between leadership and IT stakeholders. • Assist in preparation of reports for project reviews. Work Schedule: Hybrid, minimum 3 days on site per week. Required Skills & Experience: • 10+ years as Technical Lead on large-scale IT projects. • Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Services (AppServices, Functions, DevOps, Storage, Kubernetes). • Proficient in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, serverless computing. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform). • Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights). • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB). • Knowledge of secure coding, RBAC, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO). • Strong Agile/Scrum experience. • Ability to lead and mentor junior developers. • Excellent communication skills across distributed teams. • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. • Scrum certification such as SAFe highly desirable. • Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification highly desirable. Candidate Requirements: • Must reside locally within Virginia or within 100 miles. • Must have valid Virginia Driver’s License if claiming local. • Must be willing to work onsite minimum 3 days per week. • Candidates submitted previously for the similar position will not be considered. • Must reside physically within the US for the duration of the assignment (no offshore contractors).
