We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Pierre, South Dakota. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to support business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights.Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in data to support strategic decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, and stakeholders, to define data requirements.Perform data validation, quality checks, and ensure accuracy of reports.Support data governance initiatives and maintain data documentation.Present findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences.Required Skills & Experience2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros).Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting, and analytics.Knowledge of statistics, data validation, and quality assurance.Ability to work with large, complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.Preferred SkillsExperience with Python or R for data analysis.Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Background in healthcare, government, or public sector projects .Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards
