Job description

We’re hiring a Senior IT Technical Consultant / Systems Administrator to lead complex IT projects, support client environments, and act as a technical escalation point for our team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with full lifecycle responsibility—from design and proposal to implementation and support. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities • Design and implement server architecture (Windows Server, SQL, VMware) • Configure and support network infrastructure (WAN/LAN, SonicWall, Meraki) • Administer systems (Azure, SharePoint, Windows Server) • Manage storage and backup platforms (SAN/NAS, Veeam, Datto) • Lead full project lifecycle: design, proposal, meetings, implementation • Provide strategic consulting to clients and internal teams • Act as a technical escalation point for staff • Maintain system documentation and internal processes • Communicate effectively with clients, including C-level executives • Participate in on-call rotation and daily dispatch schedule • Enter time and expenses promptly • Stay current with emerging technologies Qualifications • 7+ years of IT experience • Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, and network systems • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and customer-care abilities • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt quickly • BA in Computer Science or related field preferred • Industry certifications (Azure, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) are a plus Core Values - We’re looking for someone who embodies our values: • Integrity • Understanding • Innovation • Communication • Reliability Why Work at F1?
