STS System Defense, LLC (SSD) are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Purview and related technologies. This role is not primarily a development position, but a strong understanding of development principles is a plus. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting and guiding the implementation of Power Platform solutions with a strong emphasis on data governance, compliance, and information management using MS Purview. Key Responsibilities • Architect and design enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Microsoft Purview. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Provide technical leadership and best practices for integrating Purview with other Microsoft services (e.g., Power BI, Dataverse, Azure). • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance data visibility, classification, and compliance. • Support the development team with architectural guidance and ensure solutions are scalable and secure. • Stay current with Microsoft’s roadmap and emerging technologies related to Power Platform and data governance. Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a Power Platform Architect or similar role. • Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview, including data cataloging, classification, and lineage. • Strong understanding of Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse). • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 compliance and security frameworks. • Current CISSP certification or equivalent. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on development experience with Power Platform tools. • Experience with Azure Data Services and Microsoft Fabric. • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure are a plus.
